Trading teak is the foundation of M. Wood but it all started with the love for this beautiful type of wood. A passion that originated during years of working in importing and exporting teak for the yacht building and timber trade. "After being commercially active in the teak trade for about 18 years, it was time for the next step", founder/owner Marcel Paques says. "At that time, I was working at a leading importer in the Netherlands and I felt the so-called entrepreneurial blood flowing." In January 2021 he founded M. Wood B.V. A short time later, wood specialist Robert Jan Figge joined the company.
